Florida Panthers won 6:3 vs the Boston Bruins: Reactions

The Florida Panthers won 6:3 over the Boston Bruins in the second match of the playoff. Now the total score is 1-1. Matthew Tkachuk was one of the best on his team, and he helped his team with great play and assists. "Belief has always been there," Tkachuk said, as quoted by NHL.

"We knew it was going to be such a tough task, but to sit there and just give away the series at the beginning of it, that's not how we roll. … We're confident playing against anybody, and I know before the third, we were talking about, 'You gotta win it here, eventually, if we're gonna want to win the series.'

So, to come up with that effort in the third was really important for our team."

Jim Montgomery on his team

Boston coach Jim Montgomery was satisfied with the start of the game and the behavior of his team. However, after that, there was a huge fall.

The biggest problem was the execution. They lacked someone to solve the match. They will have to work on that aspect of the game if they want to get a positive result. "I thought for the majority of the first two periods, we were doing really good things with the puck,"-Jim Montgomery said.

"But the turnovers we had tonight were catastrophic, they were right through the middle of the ice but not typical of the turnovers [we usually have]. … I thought our work ethic was there. I didn't think our execution was great." Brandon Montour could not hide his admiration for his team's performance.

They looked great. He is happy for his teammates, and it is obvious that there is great chemistry in the team. "Nice 4-on-4," Montour said. "Obviously, we got two [great] players up front there (Reinhart and Aleksander Barkov) that found me. 'Barky' screened the goalie, I just had to get it through, so it was nice to see that one go in."
