After 12 years since last time, it came the triumph of France in the Six Nations 2022, the sixth victory in total, the fourth with the Grand Slam. A victory that highlighted the superiority of the team led by coach Fabien Galthié.
France finished the tournament without suffering losses. Wins against Italy (37-10), Ireland (30-24), Scotland (17-36), Wales (9-13) and England (25-13). Final ranking of the tournament: France 25, Ireland 21, England 10, Scotland 10, Wales 7, Italy 4.

The final match against England

France manages to find the second try with the third line from Toulouse Cros and then with Ntamack aiming for the corner and, once tackled a few steps from the line, manages to make the oval available to the flanker. France in the locker room ahead 18-6.
In the second half England starts better and goes to try first with Steward at the flag, but it is only an illusion: at the beginning of the last quarter comes the decisive extension with the acceleration of Captain Dupont.
England tries to react, but this time Villiere saves France. Galthié who gives the standing ovation to his leader Dupont, awarded as best of the match and moved at the end of the game in the hugs with his teammates, but the result does not change anymore.
It ends 25-13 with the triumph of France.
