Erling Haaland is a new Manchester City soccer player. The English club managed by Pep Guardiola has published a press release on its website and Twitter profile, formalizing that it has reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of the Norwegian striker, who will be a new Citizens player from July 2, 2022.

Haaland's career

Considered one of the greatest talents in world football, Haaland grew up in the youth sector of Bryne, with whom he made his professional debut, before moving to Molde in 2017, where he played for two seasons.

In 2019 he was bought by Salzburg, with whom he won an Austrian championship and an Austrian Cup in 2018-2019. In 2020 he moved to Borussia Dortmund, with whom he won a German Cup in 2020-2021 and established himself as one of the youngest and at the same time prolific forwards in circulation.

In the following August, he was called up for the first time by the Swedish coach Lars Lagerbäck in the Norwegian national team, where he made his debut on 5 September of the same year, playing as a starter in the match won 2-0 at home against Malta.
