Bruno Guimaraes was a big surprise in the transfer window after he decided to join Newcastle. Newcastle United is a serious project and is expected to create a dream team in a few years. Eddie Howe is the coach of Newcastle, and that's what the fans and management wanted.
He is doing a great job so far. 'I'm enjoying working with him, I really am,' he said. 'And not only as a coach but as a person. 'I admire the way he manages the whole group. He has a very human side with everyone. 'He's turned water into wine here, leading a team that many saw as virtually relegated to the middle of the table.
He's bringing a winning mentality to the club – crucial when you have such a big project.'
Eddie Howe
Eddie Howe wants to help his players and find them the best position 'Everybody has been very helpful so far, but Eddie in particular has always given me confidence,' he said.
'He would come to me and ask: "Where do you prefer to play? Here? There? OK. What's your favourite role on the pitch? I want to help you adjust to my playing style but you have your own characteristics too – where do you think you can help me most?"' Eddie Howe: “He’s been incredible" During the summer window, journalists asked him if Guimaraes would leave the club considering that there were many offers, and Howe answered them; “It shows [how well Guimaraes has performed],” he added.
“Regarding speculation, I’ve got no problem with it as such. “I think it’s a compliment to Bruno and how well he’s done for us. “He’s been incredible I think and he’s only going to get better from this point. He’s a very valuable member of our team”.
