Jurgen Klopp: We can attract players even if we don't play the Champions League

In an interview with the media, Jurgen Klopp talked about Liverpool's season and the possibility that Liverpool can no longer 'attract' football players, given that there are good chances that Liverpool will not play in the Champions League next season.

However, the German does not agree with that and thinks that Liverpool can attract good players regardless of the situation in the table. "When I talk to a player - if I'm allowed to talk to a player - we cannot say in the moment if we have Champions League football," Klopp said, as quoted by eurosport.com
"So, if we are already talking, then it is already clear that he already knows about that situation.
But it's just a general thing.

I think if you join a club, you reach something together with the club.
It's obvious we have to be part of the Champions League, fight for trophies and these kind of things. If you want to be part of that, you're more than welcome.

We cannot guarantee this year Champions League football.
But all the rest is the same as before: a fantastic club with a really good football team - and a better one hopefully next year. It's really that simple. Still Liverpool.

We're really attractive to a lot of players."

Mohammed Salah

Mohammed Salah is an important player on his team and is indispensable to the team in the fight for trophies. However, some are suspicious of the Egyptian midfielder and believe that he will not play at the top level for much longer.

Salah is 30 years old and has huge ambitions for the future. "No. Not from us [on whether Salah will be overlooked]. Not from the Liverpool supporters. Maybe from you? I don't know.
A lot of time, they will be an all-time great after they finish their career but he is still in his career.

If you see Mo everyday, you will see there are still a good few years in his legs and in his body, and the numbers will still improve, and that's absolutely great.
We don't overlook it but questions asked that often, you might be guilty to overlook it."
