Kevin de Bruyne comments on Arsenal's new signings

Arsenal beat Man City on penalties to win the Community Shield. Many are wondering how Arsenal's new reinforcements will perform, and whether the London team can win the trophy this season. Kevin de Bruyne, a player of the opposing team, commented on Arsenal's new reinforcements.

The Belgian believes that Arsenal did an excellent job. ‘I think they are good players. They looked at what they needed and they have bought them. I think they started all three, so that means they are big signings for them.

Everybody is looking at their own team and every team has so much money, so everybody is always spending in this league and we know that. It gets tougher every year. One way or another, we try to maintain where we are.' - De Bruyne said, as quoted by METRO.

Aaron Ramsdale and his statement

Aaron Ramsdale, the goalkeeper of Arsenal, believes that the Gunners have shown that they can play with Manchester City. This victory will be a great motivation for Mikel Arteta's team. The question is how much they can do this season.

It is too early to predict anything. Things will be more familiar after 10 rounds. ‘It’s a statement,’ Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale told ITV. ‘It’s a marker to know we can go and beat Manchester City in a big game when it matters.

‘I’m not sure what it’ll be like this season. But that mental block is gone. We’re ready to push on now.’ Mikel Arteta looked happy after everything. The Spanish expert is delighted considering that his team has shown that they can match anyone.

Arteta did a great job with the arrival of Havertz, Rice, and Timber. ‘We showed again that we can compete against an incredible team. There will be so many problems and challenges ahead but we did very well.’
