It is the first time in 123 years that the German Football Association has dismissed a coach. Hansi Flick and his results were disappointing, and the Germans had no other option but to say goodbye to this great coach. As a result, the German Football Association had no alternative but to fire Hansi Flick.

After a heavy defeat in a friendly match against Japan, he was left with a bitter taste in his mouth. The Germans were disastrous in the match against Japan, and were far from their level. As the first person of the German Football Association, Bernd Neuendorf elaborated on the reasons for firing Flick.

"The federation agreed that the national team needs fresh blood after a series of disappointing results. We need confidence and optimism around the team before the European Championship next summer," said Bernd Neuendorf. "This was one of the most difficult decisions I had to make.

I have the utmost respect for Hansi Flick and his team, but for the DFB the result of the national team is still more important."

Candidates

DFB is on the lookout for a new coach to lead the team. Former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann is also considered to be one of the main candidates.

After he was fired from the Bavarian giants several months ago, the young specialist has been out of work for quite some time, and we will have to wait and see if he is called upon to sit on the bench of the national team.

A number of legendary players are also associated with this selection, including the legendary Louis van Gaal, and perhaps the most unrealistic option, Jurgen Klopp. During the year 2021, Hansi Flick became the manager of the German national team.

A total of 25 matches were played by the Germans under his leadership, with 12 wins, seven draws, and six losses in total. Flick failed to do what was expected of him, and will have to look for a new job. In addition, the new coach will have a difficult task to restore the confidence of the team and show the true strength of Germany.
