David Moyes did great things at West Ham last season, and it seems that this season he is well on his way to satisfying the goals of this club. At the end of the season, his contract expires, and many West Ham fans do not want to see Moyes in the club anymore. During the analysis on TNT Sports, Rio Ferdinand expressed his frustrations with the West Ham fans. The former Manchester United player does not understand why fans are so critical of Moyes, considering the great things he has done for the club.

“I mean, I can’t believe it. I need to speak to the West Ham fans, what I’d like to know is what are you really expecting?
What are you asking for from David Moyes? I’ve seen disgruntled people with David Moyes, asking should he be changed.
"- Ferdinand said, as reported by eurosport.com

Rio Ferdinand explains his view

Rio Ferdinand thinks David Moyes, West Ham's manager, has done a great job. He pointed out that Moyes helped the team win a European competition and spent money wisely on new players, resulting in a good sixth-place position in the league. Ferdinand believes it's not fair for fans to question Moyes' abilities, given these achievements.

West Ham is a club that had huge problems until the arrival of Moyes. The Great Scot introduced discipline, created a winning mentality, and helped many players to show their maximum.

Ferdinand also mentioned that West Ham has had tough times in the past, playing in lower leagues and struggling in the Premier League. However, he thinks the team is in a good state now, and fans should appreciate that.

It seems that the fans' appetites have increased after a great season, and they believe that the club can do much more. However, one should be realistic. Looking at other clubs that are much stronger financially, it is hard to expect that West Ham can be a club that will finish in the Top 4.

He warned against being too critical and wanting a new manager without thinking about the possible negative effects. Overall, Ferdinand wants people to understand Moyes' success and be careful about wanting changes without considering the consequences.
