US Open draws: the path of Serena Williams!

The US Open 2022 are about to begin. Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Ons Jabeur and, above all, Serena Williams, will try to win the title on the Arthur Ashe Stadium. To achieve the final success, however, there are several obstacles that the players must overcome, with a draw that gives a show from the first rounds.

In the upper part, the number one seeded Swiatek leads, who will face the Italian Jasmine Paolini in the first round. The first adversities come from the round of 16 onwards: the probable opponent is Ostapenko, while in the quarterfinals there is the tennis player of the moment, as well as home player, Jessica Pegula.

In the Swiatek's area there is also another Italian, Lucia Bronzetti, who faces Lauren Davis in the first match of the tournament. In the same part of the draw there is also the title holder, Emma Raducanu: very difficult first round against Alize Cornet and hypothetical third round against another very complicated opponent like Danielle Collins.

In the round of 16, on the other hand, she would face the extreme of the upper part of the scoreboard, Aryna Sabalenka.

Serena Williams is the most anticipated star of this tournament: the former world number one will play the last matches in Flushing Meadows.

The Grand Slam champion has been drawn in the lower part of the draw: in the first round she will face Danka Kovinic. The first difficulties arise, however, already at the second pass, where she could wait for the number two seeded player of the tournament, Anett Kontaveit.

In the quarter-finals, you could be waiting for a blue, or Martina Trevisan. Not only Trevisan, but also Camila Giorgi is present in the lower part of the tournament. She will debut against Anna Bondar: if she gets through the first round, she could be waiting for the top seed number 20 of the tournament and one of the hosts, Madison Keys.

The hypothetical third round, on the other hand, would be another American: the young Coco Gauff, looking for the first Slam title at home.
