Serena Williams shocked many: The chances of a return are very high!

Serena Williams has denied that she has said 'goodbye' to tennis and there are still chances for her return. Williams surprised many with her statements; "I am not retired," Williams said, as quoted by Sky Sports.
"The chances [of a return] are very high.

You can come to my house, I have a court." Williams emphasized that it was not easy to get used to a completely new life, a life without tennis and the obligations she had until now. Still, she tries to balance things out.

"I still haven't really thought about [retirement]," Williams said.
"But I did wake up the other day and go on the court and [considered] for the first time in my life that I'm not playing for a competition, and it felt really weird.
"It was like the first day of the rest of my life and I'm enjoying it, but I'm still trying to find that balance."

Grand Slam

Will she appear at another Grand Slam? “You never know.

I’ve learned in my career, never say never." Tom Brady is one of those who came out of retirement, Williams could do the same. "Tom Brady started an amazing trend. That's what I want to say,” Williams said. A few months ago, in an interview with Vogue, she spoke about her decision; I have never liked the word retirement.

It doesn’t feel like a modern word to me. I’ve been thinking of this as a transition, but I want to be sensitive about how I use that word, which means something very specific and important to a community of people.

Maybe the best word to describe what I’m up to is evolution. I’m here to tell you that I’m evolving away from tennis, toward other things that are important to me. A few years ago I quietly started Serena Ventures, a venture capital firm. Soon after that, I started a family. I want to grow that family.
