After a year's absence, Novak Djokovic returns to Melbourne Park for Australian Open 2023 and he is obviously the favourite. The draws for the tournament were drawn during the night. The defending champion of the tournament does not fish very well, the Serbian phenomenon is doing better.

The one who fishes well is definitely Novak Djokovic, number four in seeding only due to the dynamics that have developed given the non-assignment of Wimbledon points. He falls in the eighth of the Norwegian Matteo Berrettini, who will however have a rather complicated initial phase of the tournament with Andy Murray in the first round, possibly the landlord Thanasi Kokkinakis in the second round (the challenge with Fabio Fognini, who hinted on Instagram is fascinating that this could be his last year on the major circuit) but above all Taylor Fritz in the round of 16.
