Novak Djokovic still king: he wins the Australian Open and the 22nd Slam!

Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open for the tenth time in his extraordinary career. Melbourne was confirmed as the second home of the Serbian champion, who returned to lift a Grand Slam title after last year's Wimbledon.

The Serbian champion dominated the competition with his usual strength over the course of these two weeks, worrying the fans only in the initial part due to a physical problem in his left thigh, and was thus able to rewrite another page in tennis history .

In the final, the 35-year-old defeated the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in three sets, which were however very hard fought, who gave his all to counter the power of the new number one in the world. At the end of the match, Nole indulged in well-deserved celebrations, sending the entire Australian public in the stands into ecstasy, who absolutely did not want to miss a match of this level.

In the replay of the Roland Garros final dated twenty-twenty-one with Stefanos Tsitsipas, the Serbian phenomenon perfectly exploits all the shortcomings of the Greek talent and simplistically manages the most important moments in a better way.

He got back what was allegedly taken from him twelve months ago. With strength, with anger, with pride. And the tears that accompany the finale tell it all. Novak Djokovic wins the Australian Open for the tenth time in his career and reaches twenty-two Grand Slams equaling Rafa Nadal's record.

Not a new one. Djokovic still closes on 6-3 7-6(4) 7-6(4) and despite Wimbledon's 2000 points outside the Best 18 he returns to occupy the first position in the ranking and even surpasses Nadal in the list of titles, 93. However, there were moments in which Novak expressed all his humanity and his feelings towards another incredible result put on the way: Djokovic in fact lay down on the ground and burst into tears (of joy), between hugs and the emotion of the its technical staff.

After the 2022 case, which shook the whole Serbian environment and ultimately prevented the player from participating in the prestigious Australian event, Nole showed up stronger than ever in this 2023 edition of the Australian Open.

With a smooth and incredible path, the winner of 22 Grand Slam titles has completed the goal of returning to lift that trophy already won nine times.
