Glover Teixeira (33-7), is an MMA veteran and man who recently became the oldest fighter to win a UFC title. The experienced Brazilian started his career back in 2002 and came to the UFC in 2012. He had ups and downs in his career, but in the last three years, Glover has won only.

In the period from 2019, he defeated Nikita Krylov, Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos, and finally Jan Blachowicz, taking the title he is defending tonight. Jiri Prochazka (28-3), a Czech sensation who, after just two fights in the UFC, got a chance to attack the belt.

Jiri also has a wealth of experience behind him, and before signing for the UFC he was the champion of Rizin’s light heavyweight division. He made his UFC debut in 2020 by knocking out Volkan Oezdemir in the second round of the fight, followed by another attractive win against former challenger Dominick Reyes.

With his attractive performances and style, Jiri secured an attack on the belt after only two fights. He enters the match as a favorite. Jiri enters the fight with his hands down and hits a few low kicks, but Glover returns with kicks.

Glover takes a single leg and crashes Jiri and inflicts some damage on the ground floor. Glover takes his back and finally north-south where Jiri explodes and gets up, Glover collapses and enters the mount, from where he hits good elbows.

Glover is on his back again, but he slipped and now Jiri makes good shots on the ground floor. Jiri opens the second round from the center by a direct hit and front kick, acting much faster than Glover. Jiri guesses well what led Glover to an attempt to overthrow him in despair.

Jiri still hits, their knees and elbows from the turn, Glover tries to knock him down but Jiri defends it. Glover hits the left crochet that knocks Jiria down, and Glover re-enters the mount. He goes to the half guard and hits the elbows and very easily returns the mount where he hits the elbows again and opens the Jiri arcade.

The third round starts much like the second, Jiri defends the demolition and calls Glover to his feet. Jiri tries a flying knee but fails, so he hits a few good punches that force Glover to crash, which he manages to perform, and ends up in a side mount.

Jiri gets up and sits fighting on the wire, hits strong crochet in the body as well as the knee, Jiri hits well on the ground floor and inflicts great damage on Glover who looks very tired. In the fourth round, Glover takes center and hits a few punches, but Jiri continues to hit the body. Glover hits the right crochet that shook Jiri and knocks him down and ends up in a side mount. Glover again slowly makes his way to the mount where he tries to arm the triangle but fails.

He tries to do it again, but this time he crosses to the other side, but Jiri pulls out and gives heavy blows to Glover on the ground floor. Glover expertly turns and takes his back, but Jiri turns again and ends the round as the top.

In the fifth round, Glover hits with his right hand, which shook Jiri, he tries the guillotine, but Jiri pulls out because the fighters are wet. Glover hits another left crochet and tries to knock down the wire, but Jiri defends.

Glover again hits the same right behind the ear and crashes, again slowly entering the mount where he inflicts damage. Jiri explosively comes out again and ends up. Jiri tries to choke, locks up, and succeeds! Glover was tapping!
