While two more very good UFC shows await us this month, MMA fans, but also the UFC itself, is slowly turning to the big seventh month. Why big? Because it offers two PPV shows with a handful of fantastic matches. July (the seventh month) will kick off the UFC 276 event, led by Israel Adesanya and Jared Cannonier.
Izzy will try to reach the fifth belt defense in the middleweight division, and Jared Cannonier enters the match as a big outsider. "Killa Gorilla" should stylistically suit Israel Adesanya. Cannonier is a fighter who prefers a stance, and that is the area where Adesanya is actually the strongest.
If we add to the equation a big difference in speed and technical quality, it is clear why Adesanya is a big favorite. Cannonier’s trump cards lie in his incredible strength and punch with which he can knock out an opponent at any time.
After all, this is MMA and we witness surprises quite often. Jared Cannonier is certainly not a fighter who can be underestimated because he is fighting for the title for a reason. Even Israel Adesanya has repeatedly pointed out that he wants to fight him because he considers him a quality fighter.
The before-mentioned UFC announcement called "No Easy Way Out" lasts a little less than two minutes, but it's worth a look. As we approach the UFC 276 event, the announcements will become more extensive and longer, but even this is enough, for now, to start pushing us to what the beginning of the seventh month brings (July 2).
