Zabit Magomedsharipov said goodbye to the UFC!

Zabit Magomedsharipov decided to leave the UFC, and ended his career 18-1 overall. Zabit had health problems, so he decided that the best option was to end his professional career. He sent a long message via Instagram: “Assalamu alaikum friends!

I know that many of you were waiting for my return, there was not a single day that someone did not ask when is my next fight was,” Magomedsharipov posted on Instagram. “But I decided to end my pro sports career.

“Disruptions of fights, then health problems — all this did not allow me to perform/fight earlier,” continued Magomedsharipov. “I have recovered now, but I don’t feel the way I used to. Thank you to everyone who has supported me for such a long time.

I didn’t have time to become a champion, but I think, even without this, I hope I was able to please/entertain you. I cease to be an active athlete, but I do not leave the sport. I have something and with whom to share my knowledge.

So don’t say goodbye, friends!”

Bisping: He’s losing the passion? Is that correct?”

Already last year, rumors were circulating that this would happen, but some still believed that it will not happen.

Bisping Michael is one of those who commented on Magomedosharipov's potential retirement, and believed it was not a good option. “Yeah, I’m just looking at his record here. I mean, he’s 18 and 1. The one loss was years ago, back in 2013, early in his career," Bisping said.

"And yeah, he’s like a guy that everybody’s so high on, and rightly so, he’s looked incredible in the Octagon. He’s got well-rounded skills. He’s got a tremendously tall, lanky frame. He’s a nasty b***d when he’s in the Octagon. I just don’t get it. So, he’s stepping away because he’s losing the passion? Is that correct?”
