Former UFC fighter and TUF winner Elias Theodorou died last night at the age of 35. By the way, Elias was fighting liver cancer, but he never publicly stated that he was fighting a serious disease. Only after his death did the portals convey what it was really about.
In his career, Theodorou performed eleven times under the auspices of the UFC. He also won the mentioned 'TUF Nations' by knocking out Sheldon Westcott, and he also fought with many well-known fighters, among whom we should highlight Thiago Santos, Brad Tavares, and Derek Brunson.

Although he had three consecutive victories before that defeat against Brunson, his contract was not extended then, and the UFC said that the reason was that they believe Theodorou cannot become a top 5 fighter.
After that, he appeared three more times and recorded three victories, and his last fight was in the twelfth month of last year he defeated Bryan Baker at the 'Colorado Combat Club 10' event, and he never revealed his health status after that.
“RIP Elias Theodorou,” Jeff Novitzky, the vice president of athlete health and performance at the UFC said. “A great person and a HUGE voice for the more fair and equitable treatment of marijuana use in MMA and sport”.
Thiago Santos, who handed Theodorou his first MMA defeat said it was hard to take in.
