It was expected that there would be a great deal of excitement when the return of Conor McGregor was announced. There was a recent press conference called by Dana White at which he announced some important news, and it has also been announced that somewhere later this year he is going to face Michael Chandler in the lightweight division.
There is no information yet as to when the finals of "The Ultimate Fighter" will take place, but McGregor and Chandler are the coaches of the show. Chandler and McGregor are expected to throw down in a real coach-to-coach battle, and there is a real chance to set off fireworks.
The moment McGregor appears, though, sparks begin to fly. As it turns out, a few days ago, a bunch of fighters began accusing him of throwing out three fighters of the contest in order to insert some of his acquaintances, which he, as you can imagine, denied.
One of the teammates that was ejected from the game was Gilbert Burns' teammate, who went public with the information that was revealed: "This guy is my teammate! Loik Radzhabov 2x PFL finalist 155! Work so hard and was ready to finally get his shot in the UFC on TUF was in Vegas everything good to go!
This freaking Conor bring his own guys and they kick him out! Not Fear!- Burns wrote on his Twitter profile.
Conor McGregor reacted
Despite these accusations, McGregor has reacted to them in the following way: “I only know 1 guy on this show and he put himself forward for it,” McGregor wrote in a tweet.
“And he is now, after today, set to fight the No. 1 seed! I didn’t ask nor request nothing! And I certainly didn’t have people removed. I’m just tryna get back in the mix myself so f— off”. There is no way of knowing exactly what is going on and how it is happening.
