As a result of defeating Kamaru Usman for the second time in a row, Leon Edwards successfully defended his title. There are many people who wonder if there will be a new fight between them in the near future. Usman talked about a possible new fight in the ring, but Edwards denied that such a confrontation would take place again.

“Probably not. Probably not,” Edwards told reporters after the fight, as quoted by mmajunkieusatoday.com “It’s been three fights now. I want to move forward in my career. I look toward different fights”.

Leon Edwards: I wish him well in whatever he chooses to do

It is still clear that Edwards holds a lot of respect for his opponent, who reciprocated his respect in turn. It was immediately clear from the beginning that the two of them had a good relationship because there was no bad blood between them.
