Colby Covington: A fight between me and McGregor would be the biggest fight ever

Colby Covington has many options in his head regarding his next fight. However, his favorite option in this moment would be Conor McGregor. Covington has huge respect for the Irishman and everything he has done during his UFC career.
He hopes that he will have the opportunity to be in the ring with him and expects that it will be one of the biggest matches in the UFC. Although McGregor has been in bad shape in the last couple of years, it does not change the fact that he is one of the biggest in the company.
"Conor’s done some great things in this sport,” Covington said, as quoted by mmajunkieusatoday.com “He’s a great fighter, but his time is passing. He’s made a lot of money, so he just doesn’t have that same hunger and same drive he used to when he first started fighting.
Who knows if he’s coming back to fight any time soon. He still has to get the USADA pool and do all the stuff that goes along with that. If Conor wants to fight one day and do business, it’s probably the biggest fight the UFC would ever do, as you see with the numbers this weekend that I’ve drawn to this event”.
Colby Covington: I’m here to fight the biggest and best
Covington will be the next contender for the title. However, it seems that Covington would very much like to have a fight with McGregor, whose return we have been waiting for a long time.
We will see what plans Dana White has for the Irishman. “If they want to sit down at the table and they think that’s the biggest and best fight we can do, then let’s do it,” Covington said. “But I’m here to fight the biggest and best fights in this company”.
