The highly anticipated return of Irish mixed martial arts superstar Conor McGregor is just around the corner, however, the date of his comeback remains shrouded in mystery. The situation regarding USADA and the half-year protocol that McGregor hopes to avoid has yet to be resolved.

Despite this, the former featherweight and lightweight champion will serve as a coach on the upcoming season of "The Ultimate Fighter" (TUF) against Michael Chandler, though the date of their much-anticipated clash has yet to be determined.

UFC: The Pinnacle of McGregor's Career

McGregor, who has only two fights left on his contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), stated that he has no interest in doing business with another promoter in the wake of Nate Diaz and Francis Ngannou's departures from the organization.

In an interview with The MMA Hour, McGregor said, "The UFC is the pinnacle and the company I love. I hope to be with this company for the rest of my career." The Irish fighter added, "I love the company dearly. It's changed my life and given me so much.

The UFC is my company."

Reflecting on Ngannou's Departure

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on "The MMA Hour," McGregor reflected on the situation with Ngannou, who recently left the UFC for greener pastures. The Irish fighter said, "I thought he made an error.

He hasn't fought in a minute. Get a bout under the belt and then maybe start. I wasn't sure why he did that, to be honest. He kind of took the shine off him how it went, but look, I wish him well." It is hard to imagine McGregor ending his career in another organization other than the UFC, as he has become the face of the organization.

The resolution of the USADA situation and the outcome of the Chandler fight remain to be seen. Regardless of what happens, Conor McGregor's love for the UFC and his desire to remain with the organization for the rest of his career is clear.
