Khamzat Chimaev fires back at Dana White

UFC fans worldwide can expect Khamzat Chimaev to make a return soon. Recently Dana White addressed that Chimaev hasn't fought due to 'personal reasons', but based on Khamzat Chimaev's recent tweets, it seems to be quite the opposite.

His return is much awaited, and he is unquestionably a feared opponent in his division. Chimaev is an aggressive striker and is ready to fight anyone; the UFC should take this into consideration and match him up with an equally tough contender.

It looks like he's going to fight in October, and it will be very interesting to see against who.

Khamzat Chimaev on his return

In an interview with TSN, Dana White recently spoke about Khamzat Chimaev and explained why he hasn't fought recently.

Based on the statements, Chimaev reacted by tweeting the following: "I have no problems with fights, if they gave me a fight, I would have fought a long time ago, I did so many training camps and not one fight, the problem is definitely not with me, prepared in dubai then to thailand, why do I train so much if there is no fight, I don't understand".

Chimaev tweeted. He further calls out a few opponents. "I can fight with everyone I don't care who @bullyb170 @USMAN84kg @stylebender @Leon_edwardsmma @ColbyCovMMA @robertwhittaker". He said he wanted to fight anyone, but interestingly he shortlisted his list to Belal Muhammed, Kamaru Usman, Leon Edwards, Colby Covington and Robert Whittaker.

It is interesting how he has mentioned both middleweight and welterweight fighters, which clearly indicates that he's open to fighting at either the middleweight or welterweight division – whatever it is, his fans are eagerly waiting for his return.

He has also made many attempts to call out Paulo Costa; it would be a fantastic matchup as Costa also has to make a return. It would be fair to say that a match between the two can turn out to be the most challenging test of their careers.
