UFC 290: Alexandre Pantoja is ready to snatch the belt from Brandon Moreno

The top UFC flyweight contender Alexandre Pantoja looks forward to making an enduring impression on the MMA world and fans worldwide. He is one step away from being the new flyweight champion of the world. The match between Brandon Moreno and Alexandre Pantoja is scheduled to take place on the 8th of July.

Alexandre Pantoja has fought his way through to make it to the top; he has been consistently winning since 2021 and is one victory away from transforming his life forever. He has a professional record of 25-5, and on 8th July we will see how greatly those numbers change.

Alexandre Pantoja’s thoughts on his title fight

Brandon Moreno was unsuccessful in converting his performance into a victory against Alexandre Pantoja back in 2018, and it will be very interesting to see how differently Moreno fights 5 years later.

In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Pantoja explains how he wishes to establish a dominating position and looks forward to smashing the flyweight champion just as Khabib Nurmagomedov wanted to smash Conor McGregor. “I’m going to smash Brandon Moreno,” Pantoja said, as quoted by mmajunkie.usatoday.com.

“I like when Khabib said that to Conor McGregor: ‘I’m going to smash your boy.’ That’s what’s going to happen on July 8. I come for complete domination like I did in Chile. A lot of people say Moreno is not the same guy.

I’m not the same guy, (either)”. He further said: “To see my face on the banner around, that’s one of my victories,” Pantoja wants to be highlighted. “I’ve seen some banners that don’t have my picture, but now, I see my picture in fight week.

That’s a good day to show everybody that doesn’t know about me who is Alexandre Pantoja. I see a lot of people say, ‘Who’s that guy?’ and July 8 is a good day for everybody to know who is Alexandre Pantoja”.
