The notorious Conor McGregor showed his notorious side by aggressively pushing Michael Chandler during a face-off for one of the episodes of The Ultimate Fighter season 31. Chandler was absolutely shocked by the unexpected action and was somewhat calm under such a heated situation.

One thing is certain the trash-talking will be super-entertaining for fans and viewers watching worldwide.

Michael Chandler’s reacts to being pushed

Recently on the ESPN’s After TUF post-show, the lightweight contender Michael Chandler shared his thoughts on Conor McGregor’s unexpected physical attack and explained how he processed it.

“Well, hey, let’s just look at it: It went from zero to 100 very quickly,” Chandler said, as quoted by mmajunkie.usatoday.com. “To be honest with you, I didn’t expect it. Obviously we’re ready to protect ourselves at all times.

The first thing was, ‘Holy cow, OK, he just put his hands on me. What’s about to happen? Is he in my space?’ But obviously he backed up. I obviously got pushed back, and we both kind of started walking towards the center of the cage.

Chandler further said: “He starts taking off his coat, and I’m like, ‘OK, what? We’re going to fight right here?’ Obviously you never quite know what’s going to happen. We’re on a reality show, but it’s also two dudes who want to fight each other.

So I was ready for anything, and obviously I was ready to fight right there if we had to, but let’s be honest: We’re on a reality show”. Fans worldwide are wondering when the match will be officially announced – certainly, it shall be announced sooner than we think.

Chandler and McGregor have been going back and forth on Twitter, and it will be interesting to see where the heated arguments take them.
