The possibility of a potential match between Khamzat Chimaev and Kamaru Usman has already fired up fans with great enthusiasm; however, there has been a little hesitancy lately, and both fighters have been going back and forth.

Two things can happen: either Kamaru Usman agrees to fight at middleweight, or Chimaev decides to fight at welterweight – the match between these dangerous fighters can take place before December.Chimaev hasn’t fought for 10 months, and his return is much-awaited; a few more wins from here will secure Chimaev’s position as the next title challenger. On the flip side, Kamaru Usman is currently on a two match losing streak, and he would be looking forward to breaking the losing momentum with a comprehensive victory in his next match; if not Chimaev, we can expect Usman to fight against someone from the top 5 or top 10.
