Jamahal Hill had to make the sacrifice of vacating his light heavyweight belt owing to a ruptured Achilles Tendon. It must be very difficult for him to see two opponents fighting for something that he earned through persistent efforts.

However, it is worth knowing that the UFC fully supports Jamahal Hill and will give him an immediate opportunity to fight for the title whenever he is ready and recovered. The winner of the upcoming light heavyweight title fight will eventually have to face Jamahal Hill.

The fight between Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira is set to take place on the 11th of November as the co-main event of the UFC 295 card. Jamahal Hill will be present that evening in the arena to see who wins his belt. He also looks forward to a face-off with the winner.

In a recent YouTube video, Jamahal Hill expressively spoke about the upcoming title fight between Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira. Hill also gives an update on his recovery.

“We’ll see who will sit as the steward on the throne until the king returns,” Hill said, as quoted by mmajunkie.usatoday.com. “It brings up some feelings. Now, this would officially vacate me as the champion.

I believe a lot of people were confused about the process and how that works. The reason being is whenever Jiri vacated the belt, it was pretty much immediate because they already had a fight announced to fill that vacancy.

Hill further said: I’m healing up, I’m coming along, doing physical therapy twice a day, just getting back to it. I plan on being there, I’m going to go, I’m going to watch, I’m going to see what happens, and I’ll look the next man in the eye and let him see what’s coming.

I don’t really have to say nothing. I can give you a look and you know everything you need to know. I just can’t wait to be back”.
