Jon Jones will defend his belt against Stipe Miocic on 11th November, it is unquestionably one of the toughest tests for both fighters, and it will be fascinating to see if Stipe Miocic can shock the world and become the new UFC heavyweight champion of the world.

Stipe Miocic last fought against Francis Ngannou and faced a tough knockout loss; he will be making a return after 2 years. Miocic believes power plays a significant role in the heavyweight division to capture wins and cause serious damage.

Recently on MMA Junkie Radio, Stipe Miocic spoke about the difference of ‘power’ in the heavyweight division. “Power, there’s no question,” Miocic said, as quoted by

“You’ve got a big man in there throwing bombs. It doesn’t matter if you throw hard or not. All that weight behind a punch with small gloves, anything can happen. There’s a lot of reasons: One, I want to fight the best, I’m a competitor.

I love to compete and I love fighting. I’m still having fun. My last fight didn’t go as well as I wanted it to. I’m ready to bounce back and get that win”. Miocic further said: “He’s there to win, He’s a fighter.

He’s one of the best of all time so, he’s going to be ready to go”. This could be Jon Jones’ last match as he previously addressed that he would retire since there’s nothing more left to accomplish for him.

Only a match with Francis Ngannou could reverse his decision to retire.
