The wait to Conor McGregor’s long-awaited return may finally come to an end, as he recently confirmed that he will most likely show up in April 2024. McGregor was looking forward to fighting in December, but unfortunately, that is not happening.

Based on Conor McGregor’s recent interview, it seems like he really misses fighting and just like his fans, he is eagerly waiting to make a return.

Conor McGregor on when he will fight next

In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Conor McGregor revealed when he would make a return and expressed his willingness to fight again.

“April,” McGregor said, as quoted by mmafighting.com. “They’re saying April now. I’m happy with April. I would’ve loved earlier, but I have to be — if I’m to be honest and realistic, and for my fans, I want to put in a good run, build myself back, and that’s it.

McGregor further said: "It’s looking like April, mixed martial arts.I’ve been kept from my living for almost three years now, Understand that. I came through what I came through. I’m sitting on an injury and a loss.

Imagine what that [does]. You hear what Alexander Volkanovski said — I relate. I must return to my way of living. This is my job. So it’s beyond frustrating and hopefully we can back [in April]. I just want the date, my date, please.

That’s it”. McGregor was in attendance for the mega crossover event; after watching Francis Ngannou vs Tyson Fury live, his opinion matched with the opinions of others – McGregor thought Francis Ngannou clearly won the fight against Tyson Fury.

Boxing crossover famously started with McGregor and Floyd Mayweather. Conor is open to participating in such events; perhaps after fighting Michael Chandler in his highly anticipated UFC return, McGregor may fight someone from the boxing world.
