The Rings of Power: here is the incredible trailer!

The wait is finally over! The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power trailer is finally available, the highly anticipated Amazon Prime TV series that will explore the history of Middle-earth thousands of years before peter Jackson's original triology, based on the novels of JRR Tolkien.

In the trailer we wtch the protagonists facing a feared return of evil to Middle-earth (which is the predictable return of Sauron). As Galadriel, young commander of the Northern Armies, the half-elf Elrond, a politically ambitious leader and future founder of the elven kingdom of Rivendell.

Durin IV, prince of the teeming dwarven kingdom of Khazad-dûm; the wood elf Arondir, who has a forbidden relationship with Tirharad Bronwyn's healer and single mother, the hobbits Sadoc, Nori and Poppy, Gil-galad, the elven High King who rules the kingdom of Lindon; and Isildur, a navigator destined to become a warrior and a king.

Tolkien describes Númenor as the greatest human civilization in the history of Middle-earth, a beacon of knowledge and culture that has influenced the rest of the world. However, arrogance and ambition erode the kingdom from within, until eventually the island is destroyed, sinking into the ocean like Atlantis.

Although the series' story begins at a time of peace, tension lurks across the country. The elves founded the great kingdom of Lindon, but some fear evil is creeping back into Middle-earth. Númenor will be the key location of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

The human kingdom had never been brought to the screen and, to create it, creators and screenwriters J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay worked closely with production designer Ramsey Avery, as well as director Wayne Che Yip. The production has built an entire seaside town starting from nothing, stone by stone, obsessively taking care of every single detail, even the smallest.

After all, we are talking about the most expensive series ever made: over a billion dollars for the first season alone. Inspired primarily by the appendices of Tolkien's iconic trilogy, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power lights the stars on the heroic legends of the mythical Second Age of Middle-earth history.
