Former WWE Superstar Paige is a person who is greatly missed by most WWE fans. In an interview with Starrcast V, she talked about many topics, one of which was the retirement of a big WWE star. It is about AJ Lee, who did not know if she would continue her career.
“We didn’t really know it was going to be her last match. Afterwards, she just told me ‘I don’t know if I’m going to continue after this,'” Paige said, as quoted by fightfans.co.uk AJ Lee is the person Paige has only the best opinion of.
Lee was a favorite among WWE fans. She possessed quality, charisma and was somehow different from everyone else. "So she didn’t let us know that which I think is really sweet because I love AJ [Lee] and we were such good friends – we still are good friends."
Travelling
There are also many beautiful memories from the trip that the two of them had.
Their positivity and openness are one of their greatest strengths “I just mean that we were travelling together and we would always try to keep kayfabe. So she would be in the front seat of the car while I was driving through the arena where the fans are and she would just be ducking underneath my jacket” the former WWE Divas Champion revealed.
“She was my fairy godmother. She got a pair of Doc Martins when I was going to wrestle in the UK. I would have been so bummed out” Paige concluded. The arrival of Triple H could also lead to the return of Sasha Banks and Naomi.
This time Paige talked about the return of Banks "Obviously she’s a big part of it,” Paige said as quoted by Wrestling Inc.. “I mean, everyone loves Sasha Banks, right? So the four horsewomen in general is such a big and critical part of the women’s revolution.
So, I think she’ll be back [to WWE]. I think now with Hunter [Triple H] in charge, and kind of like taking the reigns and everything."
