Roman Reigns talked at length about his collaboration with Paul Heyman and how the latter helped him make the definitive leap in quality. Roman told: "Brock Lesnar's appearances had become more and more sporadic, so Paul Heyman was starting to look around.
He confided to me that I was the only one he really wanted to work with, otherwise he would have continued to be behind the scenes. Paul me he gave a lot of advice even before we started this collaboration. He has known my family for decades, long before I got into the wrestling business.
Heyman has so much experience that you can learn a lot from him. Nobody knows this sector better than Paul, having been on top of the mountain for so long."
Heyman's words
Heyman explained the main differences between Reigns and Lesnar: "They are very different from each other.
Brock is the equivalent of a rabid dog who weighs 225 pounds, always wants to tear everyone to pieces and cannot be kept on a leash. the dog, but vice versa. Roman appreciates my work and doesn't keep me on a leash. He has earned everyone's respect and has proven to be one of the best ever." Roman Reigns has been the undisputed symbol of WWE for a couple of years.
After making his return to the company at SummerSlam 2020, the former Shield member proposed a new version of his character by performing a sensational turn heel. The Tribal Chief also started a partnership with Paul Heyman which proved to be very apt.
Subsequently, he joined forces with the Usos to form the Bloodline. During his Stamford adventure, Reigns has won the WWE Championship four times, the Universal title twice, and once each the Intercontinental Championship, the United States Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship. As if that weren't enough, he won the 2015 Royal Rumble match with six eliminations.
