Alexa Bliss and Asuka make tag team history!

During the episode on Halloween night, of Monday Night Raw which for the occasion was in Texas, the WWE surprisingly decided to give us a titled match. In fact, in the opening match we saw Bianca Belair and Nikki Cross clash, but obviously there was a bit of a mess during the fight, caused by the Damage CTRL, which they threw against EST in view of her match against Bayley at Crown Jewel.

Surprisingly, to save the champion, Alexa Bliss and Asuka are back, who had been out for a few weeks after the two pair champions attacked them backstage. Shortly after this rescue, EST, Miss Bliss and The Empress, were interviewed behind the scenes and Alexa Bliss launched a challenge to Dakota and IYO for the titles that same evening, a challenge made official shortly after by Triple H.

New champions and new records

The match started a bit slow, with Alexa Bliss who was put in great difficulty by the opponents, but after a while the dispute was decidedly animated and the last moments kept us in suspense, as also told in our weekly report, and in the end Asuka and Alexa took home the gold becoming the new WWE couple champions to the great surprise of the whole WWE Universe present at the arena and the one sitting at home comfortably.

This victory, however, is not only beautiful for the two because obviously becoming champions is always a pleasure for the athletes who work hard every day, but also because both have achieved a record in common, while Asuka has also achieved another on behalf of her.

As for what they have in common, both are officially three-time pair champions on the main roster, in fact it is already the third time they have taken home those titles since they were founded. But that's not all, as Asuka is the first and only woman to win WWE duo titles with three different partners: Kairi Sane, Charlotte Flair and now Alexa Bliss.
