Initial rumors suggested Charlotte Flair had taken a break from WWE to plan her wedding. Those rumors turned out to be correct when Flair and Andrade El Idolo got married on May 27, 2022. Since then, we've seen Andrade perform in AEW, while Charlotte has vanished into thin air.
Guest in the latest edition of the Mas Lucha show, Andrade reflected on Charlotte's situation: "My wife has not yet returned to the ring for personal reasons, which she will specify in the future. It was not easy for us to manage the various commitments.
She left on Thursday and she worked every weekend, while I left on Tuesday and returned on Thursday. Right now I can see her more, but I assure you that her return is not far away." According to reports from Xero News, WWE has big plans for the Queen: "The company has big things in mind for Charlotte in 2023.
They have plans to get her to beat Bianca Belair at Mania 39."
How long has Charlotte Flair been missing?
Charlotte Flair hasn't appeared on television in a very long time. Her last WWE match dates back to WrestleMania Backlash, when she was defeated by Ronda Rousey in an I Quit match for the SmackDown women's title.
The Queen is undoubtedly one of the greatest superstars of any era, having personally contributed to the rise of the women's division and having made her way into the hearts of millions of fans around the world. Fans and insiders alike are wondering which path WWE will choose to allow the 13-time female champion to make a comeback.
The first option is the simplest one: get her back to SmackDown and arrange a rematch with Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. The second option would be Charlotte's return to Survivor Series to join Damage CTRL.
In the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Damage CTRL and Nikki Cross will face Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss, but all the members of the two teams have not yet been revealed.
