Barry Windham's health improves after the heart attack

Mika Rotunda, daughter of Mike Rotunda, and sister of Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, created a GoFundMe page to ask for help from fans and anyone wishing to donate, to try to help Barry Windham's family who unfortunately he had a heart attack, with doctors trying to do everything to help him and keep him alive.

Luckily we get a great update again from Mika Rotunda, in which she tells that her uncle now definitely stands, talks and walks. She wrote on Twitter: "Thank you to everyone who reached out, prayed, contributed and sent well wishes to my Uncle Barry this week.

I wanted to give an update! I am happy to say that he has stabilized and is out of intensive care. He speaks and is able to stand. Thanks again everyone! There is absolutely power in prayer”.

The fundraising to help the legend

The first time the family announced to fans that Windham had a heart attack, they also attached the GoFundMe page to help him with his medical expenses, which unfortunately are skyrocketing in the United States.

"With deep sadness I regret to report that my uncle, WWE Hall of Famer Barry Windham suffered a massive heart attack on Friday night. While traveling through the Atlanta airport, his darkest fear became a horrific reality when he went into cardiac arrest.

He is currently in intensive care and underwent an emergency procedure to save his life. As a family, we look forward to hearing that he will be okay. But for now, the future is uncertain. As is the future for many in his position.

And for those who have previously devoted their lives to their craft. After those countless years of wrestling matches, traveling and entertaining all over the world, he experienced a number of major injuries and ended up undergoing multiple surgeries.

Things that led to other health complications. Barry last hung up his boots in the early 2000s. Since then he has been limited with work due to his medical history as well as left without health insurance. He is coping as best he can with these times of extreme stress and hardship.

The medical bills he is facing are very expensive. This is nothing short of overwhelming. We kindly ask for any increase in financial assistance to help cover his medical bills and bills."
