Ric Flair: "I didn't know anything about Charlotte's come back"

In the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Charlotte Flair surprised fans with a spectacular return seasoned with a new theme song, a new gear and an attitude that made us understand that we will finally see her as her face.

But beyond all this, we will probably remember this return because The Queen has never been so far from the ring, and we are talking about 7 months, and because she managed in seconds to take home the SmackDown champion belt by defeating a Ronda Rousey heavily attacked by fans, tired of her and her lack of talent in the ring and on the microphone, and now resented for her failed run in 2022.

According some US reports, at first it seemed that Ric Flair was also backstage during the episode of SmackDown in support of his daughter, when in reality it now emerges that yes he was present, but he knew nothing of the victory of the title or her presence.

The Nature Boy had said that his daughter Charlotte no longer talks to him about anything for fear that the father might reveal everything in advance and this found even more confirmation during the latest edition of the podcast To Be The Man where Ric Flair revealed that he was backstage at SmackDown, but left before his daughter could win the belt: "I was in the building and I left and I didn't know.

It was the first time in so many years no one knew. I was in the building. I went to see Roman and John and it was the best time. I mean, I felt like part of the family again, man. I had a blast. But I didn't even know I left and went to American Social.

Then I knew it was there. I had a couple drinks with the hockey players and didn't go back into the building. But I mean, I've seen it and they put it on every TV for me. It was great. It was really old fashioned kayfabe. I think how cool that was because I don't remember that happening for a long time, when there wasn't even a hint of anything like that.

Then I also read that the next step is to have Bianca Belair lose the title to Becky Lynch, and Becky Lynch then goes on to wrestle Rhea Ripley, and she goes on and on. If all of that is true, I hope they don't beat Bianca, but if they do, I mean, it won't make any difference." He then concluded by saying: "It just shows you if they really have their mindset about doing something and they stick with it. That's why he didn't tell me. He knows I have a sticky tongue and he knows I would have told you."
