Royal Rumble 2023: the updated list of participants
Royal Rumble 2023: the updated list of participants

The Royal Rumble 2023, in a week, will already be in the archives. Yet, when the first Big Four of the year, which in 2023 will also be the first WWE Premium Live Event, is less than seven days away and only one episode of both Raw and SmackDown, the card is still largely incomplete.

So let's make a point about who already has the certainty of participating in the two matches that give the event its name: the fights between 30 men and 30 women who will be giving away a titled match in view of WrestleMania 39.

During last Friday night's episode of SmackDown we learned some additional names of the participants in the two Royal Rumbles. These are Braun Strowman and Karrion Kross for the men's one, while Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler and Zelina Vega have announced their presence in the women's one.

In a breaking news that also found space on WWE's social channels, the presence of two former winners of the men's fight was also confirmed: Sheamus and Drew McIntyre. Seven boxes are therefore added to the mosaic of the 60 performers who will take part in two of the most anticipated matches of the entire WWE wrestling season.

Yet the picture remains largely incomplete. We therefore summarize the list of participants already announced for the 2023 Royal Rumble, also specifying when we learned of their participation in the event.
