In recent days, the thorny issue of insistent fans who harass wrestlers at the airport, or in any other public place, to get an autograph (most often then resold on the net) has ended up at the center of the media debate.

The Undertaker also wanted to intervene on the matter, explaining that he is not willing to sign autographs when he is around with his family. "My daughters play sports and it becomes a regular routine every weekend. People come up and ask me for an autograph or a photo.

I appreciate that they are fans, but now I'm not Undertaker anymore. I am a simple family man who spends the weekend with his family and I would like this to be understood. And I think 95% of people would understand that. Then there are also those who get angry and think I'm an assh*le, it's still fine for me," explained the Hall of Famer to the microphones of the podcast The Bet Las Vegas.

Taker then concluded his speech stating that he wanting to devote himself completely to his family after 30 years in the world of wrestling. By now definitively retired from the scene, Taker has abandoned the Deadman gimmick appearing more and more as Mark Calaway also in the various interviews that he releases on the net.

The Hall of Famer has revealed that he was contacted by WWE to play a coaching role and help young talent. The Undertaker's last match took place at Wrestlemania 36 against Aj Styles who was defeated in a Boneyard match.

The WWE and the autograph issue

It seems that the Stamford company is trying to find a solution to deal with the often excessive behavior of fans.

Rhea Ripley had complained about the treatment she received, claiming that she had freaked out and was no longer willing to sign people anything. It had also happened with Rey Mysterio, signed in public by numerous people who had asked him en masse to sign something, arousing the disappointment of the Mexican wrestler.
