Calvin Ridley is an NFL player who plays as a wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars. In college, Ridley played football with the Alabama Crimson Tide from 2015 to 2017. With them he won two NCAA championships and in the last year he was included in the ideal team of the Southeastern Conference after recording 63 receptions for 967 yards and 5 touchdowns. On April 26, 2018, Ridley was selected 26th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. On November 1, 2022, Ridley was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars for two future draft picks that will be determined by Ridley's effective reinstatement to the NFL and his performance. On March 6, 2023, the player's suspension ended. He returned to the field after 686 days in the first round to lead the team with 101 receiving yards and a touchdown in the victory over the Indianapolis Colts. In the fifth round he caught 7 passes for 122 yards in the victory over the highly rated Buffalo Bills in the game played in London. In Week 11 he scored two touchdowns in a win over the Tennessee Titans.
