Amber Heard

Amber Heard's acting career begins with a series of appearances in video clips, films and television series. In 2004 she gets the role of Liz in the pilot episode of Jack & Bobby, she appears in the TV series The Mountain and in an episode of the series The O.C.. In the same year she is cast in her first film, Friday Night Lights.

In 2012 she began a relationship with her colleague Johnny Depp, met the year before on the set of the film The Rum Diary, with whom she then got engaged in early 2014. The following year, on February 3, the couple got married with a civil ceremony in the actor's home in West Hollywood. In May 2016, after 15 months of marriage, Heard filed for divorce from Depp, alleging physical violence and immediately obtaining a ban on approaching her spouse.

The couple finalized the divorce papers in August 2016, then made official in January 2017, when Heard obtained a divorce check of 7 million dollar.

In spring 2022, started the trial much followed by the media, which concerned the defamation accusation launched by Depp against Heard. This began on April 11 and ended on June 1 with a sentence formulated by the court of Fairfax, Virginia, which ruled in favor of Depp, ordering Heard to compensate him with a total of 10.35 million dollars

Depp was fined damages of 2 million to his ex-spouse, due to some comments made by his lawyer during the trial. Following the verdict, both Heard and Depp filed an appeal, which was subsequently withdrawn in December 2022 following a plea deal between the two ex-spouses.
