Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a US city, the largest in the state of Nevada. It is famous for being the capital of entertainment, shopping and gambling. The Las Vegas metropolitan area which includes all of Clark County is the one with the fastest population growth in the United States. Legalized gambling, the availability of alcohol at all hours of the day and night and a certain choice in terms of adult entertainment have earned Las Vegas the nickname Sin City.

Together with the economy, the city's image is also growing strongly, as evidenced by the fact that in recent years it has frequently been chosen as the setting for television series and films. Las Vegas is located in the Mojave Desert. As a result, the natural landscape is dry, rocky and with sparse vegetation. The general aridity of the surrounding area makes even more evident the abundance of water used in the city for purely decorative purposes, such as feeding artificial greenery or filling the lakes and fountains that many casinos have installed. This is a waste, but the result of surprising the visitor is certainly achieved.
