New York Jets

New York Jets is a NFL team. Since 1968, the Jets have reached the playoffs thirteen times and the AFC Championship Game four times, most recently in 2010, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, the Jets never returned to the Super Bowl, making them one of only two teams to win it in their only appearance, along with the New Orleans Saints. The team's training facility, the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center, which opened in 2008, is located in Florham Park.

Based in East Rutherford, New Jersey, it was founded in 1959, the Jets are members of the NFL and share MetLife Stadium with the New York Giants. The Jets are famous for their historic success in Super Bowl III in 1969, when they defeated the favored Baltimore Colts. During that game, quarterback Joe Namath guaranteed victory for Jets fans before the Super Bowl, a prediction that came true. However, the Jets have struggled to achieve success over the years, having missed the playoffs several years in a row.
