Airbus

Airbus SAS is an aircraft manufacturing company based in Blagnac, France, wholly owned by the European industrial group of the same name. It is the world's leading civilian aircraft maker by number of deliveries having overtaken US rival Boeing in the first half of 2019.

He is a member of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute.

Airbus was formally born on May 29, 1969 as a consortium of French and German companies under the name of Airbus Industrie at the 1969 Le Bourget Air Show, with the signatures of the then French Minister of Transport Jean Chamant and the German Minister of Economic Affairs Karl Schiller.

Subsequently, Spanish and British participants will be added, in order to be able to compete on equal terms with the giants of the US aeronautics: Boeing, McDonnell Douglas and Lockheed Aircraft Corporation.

We have to recall that after the purchase of the Danish company Satair, the Service structure was completely unified under this company.
