Jenna Ortega

Jenna Ortega is a US actress, well-know for the role of Wednesday Addams in the Netflix series Wednesday.  Jenna was born on September 27, 2002 in the Coachella Valley, California, the fourth of six children conceived by Edward, a wealthy entrepreneur of Mexican origins, and Natalie Ortega, a Puerto Rican nurse. In 2008, at the age of six, Jenna began to cultivate her interest in acting and, with the help of her father's agents, two years later she participated in the first auditions which gave her the opportunity to appear as an extra in several television series and cinema films.

In 2016, at the age of 13, Jenna Ortega declared herself a supporter of the Pride Over Prejudice campaign, promoting the rights and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community. Also in 2016, Ortega also declared herself against discriminatory and anti-immigration ideologies by Donald Trump. Thanks to the Netflix series Wednesday she won a Critics Choice Super Award and received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Series, a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, and an Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
