Joe Rogan

Joe Rogan is an American television commentator and comedian. He has held the role of color commentator in the prestigious US mixed martial arts federation Ultimate Fighting Championship since 1997; he instead started with stand-up comedy in 1988 in the Boston area and has since released numerous albums and specials. He also has his own podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, which is very popular on Spotify and YouTube.

Rogan married Jessica Ditzel, a former waitress, in 2009 and the couple has two daughters, the first born in May 2008, the second in 2010. The family also includes a daughter born from a previous relationship of his wife. Rogan, who has always been skeptical of COVID-19 vaccines, tested positive for COVID-19 on September 1, 2021. He reported taking ivermectin as an anti-COVID therapy. This has raised several criticisms, as it is a treatment widely discredited by the Food & Drug Administration, with the consequent risk of inappropriate intake of the medicine in those who have access to specialized veterinary shops.
